The Role – Art Teacher
We are seeking a committed and dynamic Art Teacher to join a specialist PRU based in Lewisham. You will be teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, planning and delivering creative lessons that support both academic progress and emotional expression. You must have strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach to engaging students with SEMH needs. You’ll be supported by experienced teaching assistants and work closely with the Head of Department to track pupil development and tailor lesson plans to individual needs.

The School – PRU
This Pupil Referral Unit in Lewisham provides targeted support for students aged 11–16 who are unable to access mainstream education due to social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. The school’s focus is to empower young people to build confidence, form positive relationships, and re-engage in learning. Easily accessible by local bus and train routes, the school is well connected for commuting staff.
