A great opportunity has come up for a Technical Support Engineer to join a growing team supporting cutting-edge traffic management technology. This role will involve providing first-line technical support across a wide portfolio of products including traffic signals, VMS, and CCTV systems.
You’ll work closely with technical leads, product teams, and manufacturing to ensure systems are configured, deployed, and supported to meet operational and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st-line technical support across a range of traffic tech products
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone, email, or on-site
* Support deployment activities and ensure technical needs are met in the field
* Collaborate with internal teams to share knowledge and improve support processes
* Maintain professional and technical standards while representing the business
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required
Essential Experience:
* Background in traffic or technology industries (e.g. traffic signals, VMS, CCTV)
* Strong technical understanding and a passion for traffic systems
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Team player with a proactive attitude
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience:
* Hands-on experience deploying and supporting traffic systems in the field
* Knowledge of electronics, traffic systems or IT networking
* Familiarity with a wide range of traffic management technologies
Qualifications:
* Relevant technical qualification or equivalent practical experience
* Any additional technical training or certifications (advantageous)
