Role: Mechanical Supervisor

Salary: £50,000 – £57,000 per annum + Package

Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established MEP contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the delivery of mechanical installation works across a range of projects.

This is a site-based role where you will play a key part in ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. The position offers the opportunity to work on varied commercial and residential projects within a supportive and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on site

*

Manage and oversee subcontractors and direct labour

*

Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and specifications

*

Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with regulations

*

Carry out site inspections and progress reporting

*

Work closely with Project Managers and site teams

*

Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times

*

Assist with planning, materials coordination and logistics

*

Attend site meetings and provide technical input

Requirements

*

Proven experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor within the MEP / Building Services sector

*

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, pipework and plant

*

Experience managing site teams on live construction projects

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

*

Strong organisational and communication skills

*

Proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability

*

SMSTS or SSSTS preferred

Qualifications

*

Relevant mechanical or building services qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)

*

CSCS Card

*

SMSTS / SSSTS (preferred)

*

First Aid (desirable)
