Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver - York

Location: Hessay (York)
Salary: £17 per hour
Hours: Full-time | Monday–Friday

We’re a growing recycling logistics company committed to sustainable waste solutions and reliable transport services. We’re currently looking for a Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join our professional and friendly driving team.

The Role

* Driving Class 1 vehicles transporting recyclable materials between sites

* Trunking and depot-to-depot work (minimal manual handling)

* Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

* Ensuring all loads are transported safely and securely

* Maintaining compliance with tachograph, Working Time Directive, and company procedures

* Representing the company professionally at all times

What We’re Looking For

* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

* Previous Class 1 driving experience (12 months experience)

* Good understanding of UK driving laws and regulations

* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
