Electromechanical Engineer – On-Site Print Technician

Up to £40,000 (DOE)

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established print business based in Leeds, looking to add an experienced Electromechanical Engineer to their team.
This is a site-based technician role supporting the smooth operation and maintenance of their print production equipment and wider site general maintenance.

Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience

4-day working week (Mon–Thu, 10-hour shifts)

Fridays off – if called in, you'll receive time off in lieu

The role:
You’ll be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and repair of a range of print machinery on-site.
A strong understanding of sheetfed and ideally heatset web presses is essential, as you’ll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently.

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience in a similar electromechanical engineering role

Time served engineer with relevant qualifications i.e. 18th Edition Wiring Regs, NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, etc
Strong fault-finding skills – both electrical and mechanical

Knowledge of sheetfed presses is a must; heatset web experience is a big plus

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
