New Opportunity - Field Service Engineer

Our client in Eastwood is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their Aftermarket service team. In this role you will be responsible for delivering on-site installations, maintenance, and repair services for bespoke heavy plant equipment.

This position requires frequent travel across the UK and occasional offshore assignments.
Engineers with field service experience on heavy plant equipment would be a strong fit for this role. 

As the new Field Service Engineer, you will:

Perform site-based inspections, maintenance, and upgrades on industrial damper systems.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and automation issues efficiently.
Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and service reports.
Liaise with customers to ensure service excellence and technical support.
Maintain compliance with health and safety standards at all times.  
Requirements for this role:

ONC / Level 3 or higher qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience in field service within industrial or engineering environments (Power Generation/Oil & Gas preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Willingness to travel and undertake offshore training when required.
Full UK driving licence.
