About the Role

Join one of the UK’s leading independent engineering and services companies, specialising in Modular and Offsite Manufacturing. Our client’s modern site is conveniently located near the M606 in Bradford (BD12) – easily accessible from South Bradford, South Leeds, Birstall, Halifax, and North Huddersfield.

Working Hours

*

Monday–Wednesday: 07:00 – 17:00

*

Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30

*

Optional overtime available on Fridays

Pay Rates

Pay rates increase with skills development - realistic opportunities to rise to the level 3 rate within 4-6 months after starting, depending on how quickly full competence is achieved.

*

Starting rate - Level 1: £12.60/hour

*

Level 2: £12.66/hour

*

Level 3: £13.59/hour

Overtime Pay:

*

Time and a half (1.5x) for hours over 37.5, Monday–Saturday

*

Double time (2x) for Sundays & Bank Holidays

What You’ll Be Doing

*

Assembling parts using hand tools and machinery

*

Reading and working from technical drawings

*

Producing components and sub-assemblies

*

Keeping your workspace clean and organised

*

Performing basic preventative maintenance

*

Troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues

*

Ensuring all components are accurately fitted and assembled

What We’re Looking For

*

Practical skills with tools or machinery (training provided for entry-level candidates)

*

Ability to read drawings or willingness to learn

*

A positive, team-focused attitude with attention to detail
