We are strengthening our permanent workforce and reducing agency reliance, with 17 posts available. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking local authority that invests in its people and prioritises high-quality practice.
? The Role You’ll manage a varied caseload, undertaking assessments, developing and reviewing Care & Support Plans, and delivering meaningful interventions that improve outcomes for children, young people, and families.
Working in a fast-paced safeguarding environment, you will:
Assess need and risk, including complex and crisis situations
Develop, deliver, and review effective care plans
Prepare reports and represent the local authority in court and multi-agency forums
Build strong partnerships with health, education, and voluntary agencies
Champion safeguarding practice and promote positive changeYou’ll receive quality supervision, protected development time, and access to a comprehensive CPD programme designed to support clear progression pathways.
? About You We’re looking for qualified Social Workers with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience. Safeguarding/CP experience is ideal, but we also welcome applications from practitioners with relevant backgrounds such as Assessment & Intervention.

? What We Offer Salary:
Grade 7: £36,648 – £40,221
Grade 8 (Experienced SW): £40,221 – £44,428Plus an excellent benefits package including:
