Onboarding/Compliance Partner
3 to 6 month ongoing contract
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
(5 days a week for training then hybrid 3 days in office)
£26.38 per hour umbrella
Role Purpose
To be part of a compliance function responsible for undertaking pre-employment checks and issuing employment contracts to all candidates who are offered jobs at the council
Responsibilities
To be responsible for the completion of pre-employment checks, including right to work checks, references, DBS checks, and any other checks that may be required by the council’s policies and procedures
To be responsible for issuing employment contracts, ensuring they are correctly populated with all relevant information and appropriately stored on the council’s HR management information system
To ensure candidates and hiring managers have a positive experience of the compliance process and receive high quality, timely information, guidance and support
To assist in developing and maintaining written policies and procedures covering all aspects of the compliance process
To support the continuous improvement of the compliance process, proactively identifying any issues or concerns and ensuring they are quickly addressed
