The Role

Morson Vital have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Rail P6 Planner to support the planning, scheduling and reporting of UK rail infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in programme development, progress tracking and stakeholder reporting across multidisciplinary rail works.

This role suits a planner with strong Primavera P6 expertise and a solid understanding of Network Rail delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, maintain and update Primavera P6 programmes for rail projects

* Produce baseline, target and updated schedules aligned to project milestones

* Progress tracking, critical path analysis and programme risk identification

* Support possession planning, access constraints and construction sequencing

* Prepare reports, dashboards and look-ahead schedules for clients and delivery teams

* Interface with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial and Site teams

* Ensure programme compliance with Network Rail standards and governance

Essential Experience & Skills

* Proven experience as a Planner on UK rail projects

* Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6

* Understanding of Network Rail GRIP / PACE / CP7 environments

* Experience with possession planning and blockade constraints

* Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple programme inputs
