Are you a natural organiser who loves getting under the skin of complex business problems and guiding clients through digital transformation? This boutique consultancy is growing fast and needs an experienced Project Manager who can combine structure with curiosity, and delivery discipline with genuine client empathy.
You’ll work across a wide range of sectors, supporting organisations through the full lifecycle of transformation programmes – from discovery and system specification to implementation and benefit realisation. Projects are typically complex, multi-stakeholder, and involve major systems change (ERP, CRM, or bespoke software).
This isn’t a hands-off coordination role. You’ll act as an advisor as well as a delivery lead, ensuring stakeholders, third-party tech partners, and internal teams are aligned, engaged, and delivering value at every stage.
The Role
*
Lead end-to-end project planning and delivery, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics.
*
Facilitate discovery and “spec & select” activities to identify fit-for-purpose systems.
*
Manage cross-functional delivery teams and coordinate third-party technology suppliers.
*
Produce client-ready reports, presentations, and delivery packs.
*
Track budgets, mitigate risks, and ensure outcomes match client expectations.
About You
*
5–8 years’ experience in project management (ideally within consultancy or technology-driven change).
*
Strong communicator who can present confidently and build trusted client relationships.
*
Skilled in MS Project or Planner, and comfortable managing budgets, schedules, and dependencies.
*
Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.
*
Degree in Business, IT, or related discipline (professional certifications like PRINCE2 or PMP desirable).
*
Experience in or around Microsoft technologies (Dynamics, Business Central, Power Platform) is a bonus.
Why Join
*
A close-knit consultancy where ideas and individuality are valued.
*
Exposure to diverse industries, from private equity to public sector transformation.
*
Continuous professional development with structured training and mentoring.
*
Hybrid setup: typically two days per week in the Leeds office, with occasional client visits across the UK.
If you thrive in an environment where you can combine delivery excellence with strategic influence, this is a role that lets you shape meaningful change for clients while developing your own craft.
Salary: Up to £50,000 (DOE)
Location: Leeds City Centre (hybrid – 2 days office / 3 remote with occasional client visits)
