Job Title: Estimator – Industrial Roofing & Cladding
Location: Hybrid (3 days working from home, 2 days office/site as required)
Salary: £35,000 to £55,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are a well-established specialist contractor in the industrial roofing and cladding sector, delivering high-quality solutions for commercial, industrial, and logistics buildings across the UK. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our commercial team and support the tendering process for upcoming projects.

The Role:
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive quotations for industrial roofing and cladding packages. You’ll work closely with the pre-construction, commercial, and operational teams to ensure successful bid submissions and commercially viable projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for industrial roofing and cladding projects

Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents

*

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices

*

Assess material, labour, and time requirements

*

Prepare and submit tender documentation in line with client requirements

*

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth handover to the delivery team

*

Attend pre- and post-tender meetings when required

*

Maintain accurate records of tenders, pricing, and correspondence

Requirements:

*

Previous experience estimating industrial roofing and cladding projects

*

Strong understanding of roofing and cladding systems and materials

*

Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software (e.g. Excel, Bluebeam, etc.)

*

Excellent numerical and analytical skills

*

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

*

Good communication and negotiation skills

*

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
