Head of Service Delivery – (Infrastructure, Management, 3rd Party Suppliers, Vendors, Hands on, Team Management, RFP’s, Service Delivery) – Permanent – Fully Remote

Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a Head of Service Delivery on a permanent basis for an existing client. This role is a fully remote position with a well established business and a leader in their field.

Location: Fully Remote

Salary: Up to £80,000 Per Annum D.O.E

Skills/Requirements for the Head of Service Delivery:

* Proven experience in service delivery leadership within IT or technology environments.

* Strong vendor and 3rd-party management skills, including performance oversight and contract negotiation.

* Experience managing small teams (3–4 senior delivery managers) and driving accountability.

* Ability to create and manage RFPs for new projects and BAU services.

* Hands-on technical expertise in infrastructure (e.g., servers, networking, cloud environments).

* Ability to work across multiple infrastructure domains and support troubleshooting when required.

* Strategic mindset: capable of influencing future IT service roadmaps and improving delivery efficiency.

Start date is ASAP for the Head of Service Delivery

The Head of Service Delivery will be responsible for:

* Leading and develop a team of senior delivery managers responsible for outsourced services and projects.

* Owning the service delivery framework, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met across all vendors.

* Managing vendor selection and onboarding processes, including RFP creation and evaluation.

* Collaborating with the CIO on the 3–5 year IT infrastructure roadmap, identifying opportunities for improvement.

* Act as an escalation point for critical service issues and provide hands-on technical support when necessary.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and infrastructure efficiency.
