We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant in York and the surrounding North Yorkshire area, ideally with experience in a primary school setting. This flexible position is designed to meet your personal needs and schedule. With our strong relationships with local schools, we can help you find roles that align with your preferences. The successful candidate would have
* Ideally, possess experience in a primary setting
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of the English language, both written and spoken
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Responsibilities
* Create a welcoming and inspiring learning atmosphere
* Work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure that each student receives the support they need.
* Help teachers deliver engaging lessons while promoting and supporting positive behaviour in the classroom.
* Provide one-on-one or small group assistance, ensuring they feel understood and supported.
* Lead learning activities when required
