We're looking for an Agent - Temporary Works to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in Bridgwater.

 

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset 

Hours: 45 hours per week

 

What will you be responsible for?

As an Agent of Temporary Works, you'll be working within the Environment team, supporting them by being responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of Temporary
Works on one of England's biggest flood defence schemes, The Bridgwater tidal barrier. .

Your day to day will include:

Co-ordination of Temporary Works between our site teams and designers & all Temporary Works activities

Ensuring that the various responsibilities have been allocated and accepted by the relevant parties (Temporary Works Designers, TWS and Construction team etc.);

Management of of Temporary Works through the full design preparation and checking processes in accordance with appropriate procedures and client requirements

Advising the permanent works designer of any temporary conditions, or loads, that should be considered within the permanent works

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Agent - Temporary Worksis great for you if:

You have previous experience working with main contractor in on Civils/Marine projects

You have a degree qualification in civil engineering equivalent is desirable – one or more of: BSc, BA, BEng, MEng, Eng, Tech, MICE, TIStructE, LCIBSE

You have completed CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Course & have a thorough understanding and application of the CDM Regulations 2015
