Scheduling Administrator – Alfreton – £29,000 – Permanent, Full-Time
An established infrastructure business supplying essential maintenance services to the utilities sector is currently seeking a Scheduling Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an onsite role, based at their Alfreton office, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
The Scheduling Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination and delivery of maintenance activities across the business’s operational teams. This position is critical to supporting field engineers and project teams by effectively managing schedules, resources, and communication with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating and maintaining accurate schedules for field-based teams
* Managing work orders and job allocation to meet project deadlines
* Liaising with clients, engineers, and internal departments to ensure work is delivered efficiently
* Monitoring job progress and updating systems with real-time information
* Assisting with reporting and administrative tasks related to scheduling and compliance
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience in a scheduling, coordination, planning or administration
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Confidence using scheduling software and Microsoft Office tools
* The ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
