About the Role

Simply Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our supportive schools in Thanet. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored 1:1 and small group support, adapting resources and activities to meet individual learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
Assist with classroom management and lesson delivery under teacher guidance.
Encourage pupil engagement and promote independence in learning.
Help to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Support with record-keeping and progress monitoring as required.What We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or similar setting).
A positive, patient, and caring approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and completion of standard vetting checks.What We Offer
