Residential Workers - Middlesbrough Children's Services

Permanent £27,254 - £28,142 (higher rate upon completion of QCF Level 4)

What You'll Do:

Deliver nurturing, trauma-informed care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of children and families
Support children with challenging behaviour, emotional difficulties, and additional needs
Work flexibly across homes and in the community, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts
Maintain and update care plans, attend reviews, and supervise family contact
Administer medication (training provided) and act as Key Worker when requiredEssential Requirements:

Proven experience working within the PRICE framework (Protecting Rights in a Caring Environment)
Commitment to trauma-informed care and safeguarding practices
Ability to build trusting relationships and support emotional wellbeing
Willingness to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
NVQ Level 3/QCF Diploma in Children & Young People (or willingness to work towards)Why Join Us:
