About the Role
As a Music Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
• Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the option of Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
• Planning engaging and practical lessons that develop students’ musical knowledge and skills.
• Encouraging creativity, performance, and composition through varied projects.
• Leading or supporting extra-curricular activities, ensembles, and school concerts.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of a vibrant and inclusive Music curriculum.
• Creating a supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and inspired.
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Music or a related subject.
• QTS or PGCE in Secondary Education.
• Strong musicianship and a passion for performance and music education.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the wider school community.
Salary
Paid to scale – MPS/UPS, depending on experience.
