Finance Officer
Yeadon (office-based, 35 hours per week)
£35,000 – £37,000 per annum

We’re looking for a proactive Finance Officer to join our head office team in Yeadon. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day finances and support with budgets, reporting, audits and governance.

What you’ll do:

Manage day-to-day finance operations, bank reconciliations and cash flow.

*

Support annual budgeting and financial reporting for Trustees.

*

Work with external partners (auditors, consultants, banks) to ensure compliance and accurate accounts.

*

Oversee income, expenditure, and investment management.

*

Support audit preparation, Gift Aid submissions, and financial systems improvements.

What we’re looking for:

*

CIMA / ACCA / AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent).

*

Strong background in finance management, ideally with charity or care sector experience.

*

Excellent Excel and systems skills, with great attention to detail.

*

Confident communicator, able to work with Trustees, senior staff and external partners.

*

Organised, proactive and able to balance hands-on tasks with strategic support.
