About the Role:

Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and compassionate Senior Social Worker to join our dedicated Children’s Social Care team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that children who are in the care of the Local Authority are supported, protected, and provided with the best possible care and opportunities for their futures.

What We’re Looking For:

* Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration

* Experience in safeguarding, child protection, and care planning

* Strong communication and assessment skills

* Commitment to high standards of practice and improving outcomes for children

* Social Workers will need to be clear on threshold decision making, support and guidance to alternatively qualified staff, have a good working knowledge of Mosaic.
