Job description:
We’re seeking an experienced External Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of Planned Works programmes across a wide area. You’ll manage external contractors, ensure compliance, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Specify, procure, and manage contracts for planned works and compliance programmes.
* Prepare tender documentation and manage procurement to achieve best value.
* Oversee project delivery in line with CDM and Health & Safety regulations.
* Monitor budgets, contractor performance, and quality standards.
* Conduct site inspections and resolve performance or customer issues.
* Collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
* HNC in a building-related discipline or equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of construction and housing regulations (CDM, Asbestos).
* Proven track record in contract management and procurement.
* Excellent project management, financial, and IT skills.
* Full driving licence and flexibility to travel
