The Role – Year 1 1:1 Teaching Assistant

A friendly primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Year 1 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional learning needs. This full-time role will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension. As a 1:1 TA, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support, helping the pupil access the curriculum and develop socially, emotionally, and academically. The ideal candidate will be calm, adaptable, and confident in using a range of strategies to engage and support young learners.
