Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the planning team on a diverse range of infrastructure projects
Preparing consent applications and managing specific aspects of projects
Leading the planning consenting process from feasibility, pre-application, examination, and implementation phases
Collaborating with engineers, environmental teams, and communication specialists
Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Producing outputs required to support infrastructure consenting or production of planning policy

Job Requirements:

Degree and/or masters in Town Planning, with Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
Strong knowledge of relevant planning legislation and planning policy
Experience in producing consent strategies, application documents, and evidence base documents
Proven project management skills with a successful record in planning and delivery
Excellent report writing, presentation, and client relationship management skills
Commercial and financial management experience
Business development capabilities, including successful bidding for work
