Competitive Salary: On offer is a competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum based on experience

About the role:
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that their products meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. You will be at the forefront of their operations, inspecting incoming components, conducting in-process checks, and performing final inspections before dispatching their world-class flow wrapping machinery. Your keen eye for detail and dedication to quality will contribute to maintaining product consistency and enhancing customer satisfaction. Working hours will be Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week flexibility 8 hour days with flexibility between 7am and 5pm.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Inspect – documentation, incoming parts and materials, conduct in-process and final product checks, and verify against specifications for dimensional, functional, and visual accuracy.
Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability.
Report and help resolve supplier non-conformances; contribute to root cause analysis and trend identification.
Support internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO, CE, and UKCA standards.
Collaborate across departments and promote continuous improvement and preventive actions.

About you:
You will have proven experience as a Quality Inspector, within a mechanical or precision engineering environment. Have an understanding of quality tools and inspection techniques as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Attention to detail, strong documentation skills as well as being computer literate, familiar with MS Office and ERP systems is essential. You will be a team player who works collaboratively, a passion for quality and compliance and can align with their mission but also inspires those around you to strive for greatness and contribute to their culture of excellence.
