We are partnered with a leading national Fire Pump business seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their field-based team. The company specialises in the service, maintenance, and installation of fire pumps, sprinkler systems, and generators, and offers excellent long-term career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carry out service, maintenance, and installation of fire pumps, generators, and control systems at customer sites
*
Diagnose and manage both mechanical and electrical faults independently
*
Maintain clear communication with office coordinators and clients regarding job status and findings
*
Complete all relevant documentation and compliance records accurately and promptly
Candidate Requirements
*
Proven experience working on fire pumps, sprinkler systems, diesel generators, or similar mechanical/electrical equipment
*
Strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics
*
Electrical qualifications are beneficial but not essential
*
Logical, methodical problem-solving approach
*
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Valid CSCS card
