MECHANICAL FIELD SERVICE FITTER IN BEDFORDSHIRE

The Role:

As a service fitter you will be involved in service and maintenance of large scale mechanical pumping systems on client sites.. You will be responsible for ensuring all inspection and assembly documentation is completed and procedures, policies and work instructions are followed.

* Mechanical fitting and service

* Dismantling, inspection and reporting of pump unit condition

* Assembly of pump sets

* Identification of spare parts required from drawings

* Compilation of findings into detailed inspection report

* Testing of pumps

* Assembly of pumping systems in the workshop when not out in the field

The candidate:

* Mechanical Fitting background

* Basic electrical experience or understanding

* Experience repairing rotating equipment i.e.pumps, motors, turbines, generators)

* Mechanical or electrical qualifications

* Able to work within a small team
