We are looking for a experienced, flexible carers to join our growing team in the Swansea area. Contracts available are between 10-25 hours to suit, which will include cover over weekends, evenings, and early mornings which will be rostered in advance.

Many individuals or families are opting for care at home for themselves/their loved ones, to enable support for life to continue in the comfort of the homes that they cherish.
At Cura, the support we offer comes in many shapes and sizes and will include a range of duties such as:
* To assist with the general support as required, and in some cases support for those with Learning Disabilities. (Such support may include food preparation, personal dressing, personal hygiene, medication management, support to venture out into the community i.e shopping);
* To offer support in a sensitive manner, taking account of the abilities and health and emotional needs of the individuals;
* To maintain written records as necessary;
* To assist people in a manner that promotes their independence and acquisition of skills;
* To administer and supervise medication as appropriate (with the correct training in place.)
To join our team, we will need you to:
* Be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle;
* Have suitable, recent care experience;
* Be available to work weekends, evenings and early mornings.
* Be of a friendly and caring nature;
* To participate in appropriate training;
* Be punctual and presentable at all times;
* Maintain the utmost confidentiality about individuals;
* Keep a log of all tasks completed as per our policies and procedures;
* Report any accident or incident occurring during a period of support immediately;
* Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices in place.
* Be flexible to meet the needs of the client,
* Be able to work as part of our team while also working alone at times,
* Register with Social Care Wales and undertake necessary Social Care Wales training (we will assist you with this),
* Undergo a DBS clearance and complete all mandatory training associated with your role.
