A global IT services company is currently recruiting for a Buyer to join on a fulltime 12-month FTC contract basis in Surrey (hybrid working).
The Buyer will be responsible for for managing end-to-end procurement processes in SAP, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Supports category leads with sourcing, tenders, supplier management, and contract activities, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and assisting with audit requirements.
Role - Buyer
Salary - £40,000-£50,000 (DOE) + benefits
Type - 12 month FTC (fixed term contract)
Location - Weybridge, Surrey
Key responsibilities for the Buyer role and not limited to:
Manage, coordinate and complete P2P sourcing process in SAP Procurement system in compliance with Procurement Global
Improve procurement skills, experiences and enhance understanding of procurement policies and procedures for compliance
Responsible with procurement process management in the ERP system (SAP) in compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Manage and coordinate end to end sourcing process from third party vendors
Support procurement category lead(s) as required for procurement activities including tender, procurement system processing and supplier performance / contract management
Engage and communicate with the internal and external stakeholders relevant to do the day to day work for the supply of products and services related
Key skills and experience required for the Buyer role and not limited to:
Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or proven experience within a Purchasing/Buyer role
Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Package
