Job Title: Food Safety/Employability Tutor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Hemel Hempstead - Centre based

Salary: up to £35,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

Must hold solid, occupational competency within Food Safety.
Must hold a recognised Level 2 qualification in Food Safety, or similar.
Must be IT Literate.
Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET - fully funded and supported by employer.
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.Duties include:

Deliver Food Safety and Life Skills training to learners based within a classroom environment.
Promote employability, communication digital literacy, reading and personal development.
Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
Undertake inventory checks for tools, equipment and materials.
Work in partnership with local employers, to source work experience opportunities for learners.
Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
