A well-established alternative provision in Willenhall is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentorto join its supportive team.
The provision supports young people who benefit from an alternative approach to mainstream education, offering a structured and nurturing environment with a strong focus on behaviour, engagement and personal development. The aim is to help learners re-engage with education, build confidence and progress positively.
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting students with social, emotional and behavioural needs by:

Building positive and trusting relationships with young people

Supporting behaviour regulation and positive engagement
*
Working closely with teaching and support staff
*
Delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
*
Acting as a consistent and positive role model

The Ideal Candidate

Experience working with children or young people in education, care, youth work or similar settings

Confident supporting behaviour and emotional needs
*
Calm, empathetic and consistent in approach
*
Committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Experience in an alternative provision, PRU or SEMH setting is desirable but not essential.
