SEND Teaching Assistant – Kidderminster

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming school community in Kidderminster.

About the Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them access learning, develop confidence, and thrive in a nurturing environment. You’ll collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure each child receives tailored educational and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEND needs

Assist in adapting learning materials and activities

Foster positive relationships to build pupils’ confidence and independence

Support behaviour management and emotional regulation

Work collaboratively with staff to deliver inclusive, high-quality learning

About You

Experience working with children or young people (SEND experience desirable)

A patient, positive, and empathetic approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A willingness to learn and develop professionally
