Metal Worker / Welder Fabricator

Location: Washington
Salary: £16.50 per hour + Overtime + Bonus + Pension
Hours: Mon–Thurs 7.45am–4.30pm, Fri 7.45am–1.00pm

We’re excited to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering business for a time-served Metal Fabricator/Welder to join their skilled and friendly workshop team.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering the chance to work on a diverse range of projects in a clean, well-equipped workshop environment.

The Role:

*

TIG welding across mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel (thin gauge 1.5mm–5mm)

*

Fabricating mild steel hollow section frameworks (material gauges 1.5mm–10mm)

*

Working from detailed engineering drawings and jigs to produce high-quality, accurate work

*

Contributing to a variety of interesting projects across the industry

The Person:

Time-served Metal Fabricator with proven TIG welding skills

*

Confident working with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel

*

Able to interpret and work from engineering drawings with precision

*

Committed to producing high-quality work and meeting deadlines
