A highly inclusive and nurturing SEN school in Yeovil is looking for an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to start in September. The school caters to students aged 11–18 with complex learning needs, including autism spectrum disorders, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs. The school is Ofsted-rated ‘Good’, with outstanding leadership and care provision.
You will be teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering a bespoke, differentiated curriculum that supports both academic and life-skills development. You’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team including LSAs, therapists, and external professionals to ensure that every pupil is supported holistically. The school promotes inclusive values and prioritises staff training in trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
