Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you looking for a new and rewarding role this September within a friendly and inclusive primary school?

We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Harold Hill that is seeking a dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistant to join their team for the new academic year. This is a full-time, long-term position with the potential for ongoing work.

About the Role:

Supporting pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD and speech and language needs

Working flexibly across the primary phase (EYFS to KS2), depending on school needs

Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored support to individuals and small groups

Promoting inclusion and ensuring all children can access learning opportunities

Supporting pupils’ emotional and social development as well as their academic progress

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting

A calm, patient and nurturing approach

Flexibility to work across different year groups and adapt to varying needs

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
