CNC Setter/Operator – Sliding Head Turning Centres
About the Role
Our client is a leading precision CNC production machining company seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator to join their growing manufacturing team. You will be working in a clean, modern workshop equipped with state‑of‑the‑art sliding head turning centres, producing high‑precision components in medium‑volume batches to meet structured production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Set and operate STAR or comparable CNC sliding head turning centres
Work with Fanuc controls or similar (experience preferred but not essential)
Maintain consistent component quality throughout production runs
Adhere to engineering specifications and quality standards
Required Skills & Experience
Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
Competent in using precision measuring equipment
Proven experience setting and operating CNC sliding head machines
Willingness to undertake additional training where required
Programming training available after a successful probation period

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
