Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Year 3, following the Key Stage 2 curriculum, and adapting to meet the diverse learning needs of all pupils.

Regularly monitor and assess pupil progress, using various assessment strategies to inform teaching and provide constructive feedback to both pupils and parents.

Create an inclusive, engaging, and well-managed classroom environment where pupils feel safe, motivated, and inspired to learn.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality teaching, actively contributing to year group planning, school initiatives, and school-wide events.

Develop positive relationships with parents and carers, maintaining clear communication regarding pupil progress and supporting their involvement in school life.

Contribute to the extracurricular and wider school community, participating in school events, professional development opportunities, and enrichment activities.
Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum, with experience in delivering well-rounded lessons that challenge and engage students.

Ability to assess and track pupil progress, using data to inform planning and differentiation to support individual needs.
*
Excellent classroom management skills, ensuring a positive, respectful, and productive learning environment.
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
*
A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
