Audit Manager

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)

An ambitious and fast-growing accountancy practice in Oxfordshire is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join their team. Key responsibilities:

Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients across multiple sectors

Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion

Review audit files to ensure compliance with audit and accounting standards

Act as the main point of contact for clients on audit-related matters

Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, managing workflow and deadlines

Collaborate with other managers and directors to support audit team growth

What they’re looking for:

ACA or ACCA qualified

At least 5 years’ audit experience within a UK accountancy practice

Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and auditing standards

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong IT skills and confidence using modern audit and accounting systems

Ability to lead a team while also working independently when required
