Key Responsibilities

*

Manage all transactional activity within the sales ledger

*

Investigate and resolve customer queries promptly and effectively

*

Set up new customer accounts and ensure accuracy of details

*

Chase overdue payments via phone and email

*

Reconcile intercompany balances across group companies

*

Allocate customer receipts and assist with daily banking tasks

*

Negotiate payment plans with customers where appropriate

*

Suggest and implement improvements to enhance processes and efficiency

*

Liaise with depots to resolve queries and support smooth cash collection

*

Support with ad hoc finance duties as required

About You

*

Proven experience in a Credit Control or similar finance-based role

*

Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach

*

Strong relationship-building skills and customer-focused mindset

*

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

*

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

*

Experience using SAP is desirable but not essential

*

Able to work efficiently under pressure and manage own workload
