Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced 85 Tonne Overhead Gantry Crane Operator on behalf of a demolition contractor working on a major project in Llanwern, Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile site with a professional and safety-focused team.

Key Duties

Operate the In-Cab Overhead Gantry Crane to safely lift, remove, and manoeuvre heavy structural components.

Remove heavy machinery foundations.

Deconstruct large, old, or unstable structures.

Maintain safety and compliance standards on site.

Requirements

Proven experience operating an OHC / Gantry Crane in a steelworks or industrial environment.

CCNSG Site Safety Passport, or willingness to obtain (client can facilitate and fund).

Full UK driving licence and own transport.

Willingness to complete pre-employment medical and substance abuse testing.

Prepared to undergo due cause testing on site.
