Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Quedgeley

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 3.00pm

Salary: Competitive

We are recruiting for an Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be involved in building, joining, and finishing models of varying size and complexity, produced using laser machines.

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:

* Creating build packs

* Hand-finishing, blasting, and joining models to the required standards

* Breaking out models and re-powdering machines when required

* Post-processing work such as dyeing and vapour fusing

* Reading and understanding written work instructions and engineering drawings

* Using measuring equipment such as Verniers

* Applying an analytical approach to problem-solving and engineering challenges

* Supporting weekend machine changeovers on a team rota basis

Key Skills and Experience:

* Hands-on experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment

* Good IT literacy, ideally with some familiarity with CAD viewing software

* Good hand-to-eye coordination and dexterity

* Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic

* Flexible, reliable, and able to work well under pressure

* Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
