Process Operator – Food Manufacturing

£35,000 per annum
Rotating 8-hour shifts:
* Days (06:00–14:00)
* Lates (14:00–22:00)
* Nights (22:00–06:00)
Pin Point Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Process Operator on behalf of a large-scale production business operating within the food and agricultural supply chain sector. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing site based in Bury St Edmunds.
The business produces high-quality bulk products that support the UK’s food and farming industries. If you have previous experience in food manufacturing, milling, processing, or technical production environments, we’d love to hear from you.
Process Operator Job Role:
* Operate machinery in the blending and pressing areas of the site.
* Complete first-line fault diagnosis and carry out routine checks and maintenance.
* Ensure consistent product quality and output.
* Adhere to health and safety standards and maintain a clean, well-organised workspace.
* Accurately record and update data using internal systems such as SAP and OEE.
* Support your shift team in meeting production and quality goals.
Process Operator Skills Role:
* Experience working in food production, feed manufacturing, milling, or technical processing roles.
* A proactive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
* Solid communication skills across multiple levels.
* Strong attention to detail and an ability to follow established processes.
* Basic mechanical/process understanding is beneficial.
