Job Title: Primary Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £150-£230 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Primary Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Rotherham. This role includes teaching students aged 7 to 11 years and helping them grow academically and personally, following the curriculum. The school values creativity and encourages teachers to try new ideas. This is a rewarding role where you can help students build confidence and enjoy learning.

Primary KS2 Teacher Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver well-planned lessons across the full Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Use a range of teaching methods to support different learning styles.
Monitor student progress closely and provide regular feedback.
Promote a positive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and motivated.
Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and report to senior staff as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 classrooms is desirable.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment requirements.
Ability to plan differentiated lessons that challenge and engage students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undergo checks through GSL Education.
