We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major bulk earthworks project, available for an immediate start. This is a contract role lasting 5-7 months, offered on a CIS or Limited Company basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for large-scale bulk earthworks operations

*

Conducting topographical surveys and managing as-built records

*

Working with machine control systems and assisting in GPS model uploads and updates

*

Creating and managing 3D models for site planning and volume calculations

*

Supporting the site team with technical input and ensuring works are delivered to specification

*

Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors and project managers for progress and technical coordination

Essential Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on earthworks or civil engineering projects

*

Proficiency with LSS software for modelling, design and reporting

*

Strong knowledge of machine control systems (e.g. Trimble, Topcon)

*

Experience with topo surveys, data processing and CAD integration

*

Ability to interpret technical drawings and communicate clearly with site teams

*

Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence

Desirable:

*

Own equipment (GPS kit, laptop with software licences)

*

HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
