Registered Children’s Home Manager (Dual Registration) – Manchester
Location: Chorlton and Withington
Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum (£70,000 base + £10,000 performance bonus per home)
Type: Full-time | Permanent | Monday – Friday (40 hours/week)
Ofsted Registered | Dual 2-Bedded Homes | Both Rated 'Good'

About the Role

Are you a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager ready for your next challenge? We are seeking an ambitious and compassionate Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead two Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ 2-bed homes in the Manchester are. This is a dual registration role with full support from a deputy, a Head of Care, and established teams at both homes.

You will play a critical role in providing outstanding care and support for young people with complex behavioural needs, ensuring compliance with the Care Standards Act 2000, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Ofsted Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Full operational leadership of both children’s homes

* Oversight of all care, safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory practices

* Staff management, supervision, and development (Deputies, Seniors, RCWs)

* Developing and delivering effective care/support plans

* Liaising with families, professionals, and external agencies

* Driving high-quality outcomes for children and maintaining Ofsted standards

* Ensuring budget compliance and resource efficiency

About You

We are looking for someone with:

* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)

* At least 3+ years in residential childcare, including 12+ months as a Registered Manager

* Proven Ofsted registration and inspection experience

* Valid manual driving licence

* Strong leadership, communication, safeguarding, and problem-solving skills

* Knowledge of Children’s Home Regulations, Reg 44 & 45 reporting, and SCCIF
