This opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer plays a pivotal role in bringing innovative, robust products to market that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability for ground-to-air communications.

What will I be doing?
In this role, you will:

Design & Development: Take ownership of detailed electronic circuit designs, contribute to PCB layout and specification, and help test and troubleshoot prototype boards.
Testing & Validation: Assist in developing and executing test plans, support integration activities, and document technical outcomes in reports and reviews.
Technical Involvement: Actively participate in hardware design reviews and support the assembly and testing phases.
Team Support: Guide and mentor junior team members, helping to share knowledge and build skills within the department.
Collaborative Working: Engage with colleagues across departments – including software, production, and quality – to ensure smooth, cohesive product delivery.
Process Improvement: Identify and suggest enhancements to engineering practices and processes.
Customer Perspective: Understand how engineering decisions affect internal stakeholders and keep customer needs front of mind.What do I need to be successful?

A degree (1st or 2:1) in a relevant engineering or scientific subject.
Proven experience working in electronics design engineering, ideally within a communications or high-tech environment.
Familiarity with:
Analogue, digital, and RF circuit design
Prototyping and board-level development
Communications systems and modulation
The full product lifecycle, from concept to release
A solid understanding of basic network technologies is beneficial.
Confident communication and the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
A proactive approach to planning, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality work.
