Operations Manager (Hybrid working) – Bristol

Salary: £40000-£50000 + Car + Full Benefits

Are you an experienced Operations Manager working within the Construction, Facility Management or Building Services market and keen to develop a new division of a company?

Our client is an Environmental Building Services Consultancy with over 40 years’ experience working with commercial clients (public and private sector) across the UK. The successful candidate will ideally have been ‘On the Tools’ earlier in their career and now be in a managerial role (Other job titles of interest – Contract Manager or Project Manager)

The Role:

Spending 2 days a week visiting sites, you will be responsible for overseeing ongoing works, working closely with the Site Supervisors and ensuring work follows project guidelines, site standards are maintained, and all required paperwork is documented correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate work with site supervisors

* Ensure accurate completion of timesheets and project documentation

* Carry out regular site inspections

* Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders

* Maintain health and safety standards on site

* Support adherence to project schedules and deadlines

Experience required – to include as many of the following

* 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with a background in Facilities Management, Building Services, or Construction

* Staff management and client-facing experience essential

* Knowledge of the water treatment sector highly beneficial but not essential

* Hold site-based qualifications to ensuring projects following industry guidelines and legislation (including IOSH, NEBOSH, SSSTS, SMSTS)
