About the Role
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to support branch sales operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and contribute to achieving sales targets within a busy and customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:Engage with customers both in person and over the phone, responding to sales enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Work collaboratively with the wider sales team to achieve and exceed branch sales targets.
Maintain strong product knowledge to provide accurate advice and recommendations.
Assist with stock replenishment, stock control, and maintaining an organised sales environment.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Operate computer-based sales systems efficiently (training provided).
Support wider branch operations including general yard or stock duties as required.

Requirements / Skills:Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within retail, trade, or sales.
Experience within a builders’ merchant or construction supply environment is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Comfortable handling telephone enquiries and processing orders.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Basic IT proficiency.
Proactive attitude towards achieving sales targets and delivering excellent service.
