Our client, an innovative company in their field is currently looking for a R&D Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

As an R&D Engineer, you'll play a key part in delivering both new and existing product development projects from concept through to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development and delivery of new and existing products and associated instrumentation
Manage and support product development activities from concept through to verification, validation and transfer to manufacture
Produce and maintain technical documentation in line with regulatory and quality system requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including regulatory, quality, manufacturing, marketing and suppliers
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with company strategy
Requirements

Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Proven experience managing product development projects, ideally within a regulated industry
Strong ISO 13485 knowledge
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Solid CAD capability, preferably using SolidWorks
Understanding and practical application of FEA (theory and software)
Demonstrable success in delivering robust, effective product designs
