Payroll Senior Technician

? Salary: Up to £33,000

✨ Join a growing payroll function where you’ll take the lead on complex client payrolls and play a key role in shaping the team’s next stage of growth.

? Key Responsibilities

✅ Deliver accurate, timely payrolls across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly cycles

✅ Review payroll outputs and ensure compliance with PAYE, NI, RTI, and pensions auto-enrolment

✅ Act as a key escalation point for the team, ensuring smooth operations and high service standards

✅ Liaise with contractors, clients, and HMRC, resolving payroll queries efficiently

✅ Support process improvement and best practice initiatives

? Ideal Candidate Profile

? Previous experience in a client, bureau, umbrella, or recruitment payroll environment

? Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes

? Excellent communication and people management skills

? Ambitious, proactive, and ready to take the next step into leadership

? Ideally working towards or CIPP qualified
